Default 08 streetglide

Streetglide..2008.......wife doesnt like the mirrors. She feels the visability is limited and mirrors hard to adjust. Thinking of replacing with aftermarket mirrors or place them on handlebars. Have holes in fairing to deal with if I place them on handlebars.
Wife is going to ride a bit to see if she adjusts to the stock mirrors. Any help with problem is appreciated.

I use the mirrors in the fairing for the blind spot and bought the black Harley "cheap" mirrors and installed them on the handlebars.

You can remove the fairing mount mirrors and put tweeters in to fill the holes! Then PM me and I will trade youa pair ofstock mirrors for yours. They are in perfect shape.

+1 with FLuHX, works great for the blind spot and saved my a$$ a time or two.

I had the same problem. I relocated mine up 1/4" and out 1/4" and they are perfect now. I was going to put the bar mounted mirrors on to and thought I might as well try it. Works for me and since they were only moved a very small amount, the mirror base covers the old mounting holes.

Kury makes a set that go out 2" more then stock, uses the same holes and has signals built into the mirrors. Pretty sweet set up!
