I'm having a tough time making a decision as to which highway peg mounts to choose. Looking for some help. I'm 5'11" with a 30" inseam so I'm looking for the correct ones to fit me. Do I go with the long angled kit? Short angled kit? The long 360 mount kit? Your input would be great!
Only you can decide where the highway pegs are the most comfortable for you. Some people like their legs fully extended and stretching for the highway pegs and some of us like a little bend left in our legs when we are on them.
I would suggest that you sit on the bike and put your feet where you wish your highway pegs were and have a buddy measure the distance from the crashbar, or whatever you are using for a mounting point. Once you have the measurement, you should be able to determine which mount you will need to put the peg where you want it.
Thanks for your post Dennis. I like my legs a little bent and not completely straight. I'm assuming the long angled mounts would allow for a little bend and the long 360 mounts would be more straight legged????????

First, it would help to know what bike? Second, are you planning on making seat mod's based on your inseam height? (i.e. lowering, moving forward).
I have these, and they work well for me. 5"9" with a 31" inseam. I have them slightly turned inward for my personnal comfort. You can also look at these. The nice option with either of the above, is that they can be mounted for your comfort. The first ones I think have a little more flexability to them, IMO
Thanks guys. Those were the two I mounts I have been choosing between. This is for my 08 SG. I don't need to make any adjustments to the seat since I can flat foot on the bike. I really appreciate your input guys. Thanks so much!
