Default IPOD QUESTIONS...

I hear a lot of you guys are using IPOD's and plugging them into the AUX jack on the factory radio. Is the IPOD shuffle a compatible unit? As well, I remember seeing someone using what looked like a phono plug coming out of the AUX input with another plug going into the IPOD. Looks like it was a pretty stable setup. Anyone help me out on this. I'm sick of thrashing my CD's in thr glove box.

I use my shuffle. Its velcroed to the handlebar. I believe any MP3 palyer would work.

You can buy the cable at a radio shack, I believe they have several lenghts available.
There are many ways to secure the MP3 player including Ram mounts.
You can just plug it to the Aux hole on your radio.

you need an 1/8 to 1/8 jack, make sure you get the gold colored tip ends on the cable at radio they work better.

Yep, mine works great. I use the shuffle with a little velcro on the center console of the tank. If you don't have one yet, APPLE is running the nano for $49. on their web site.
