CLEARVIEW + RG

ANY TRICKTOKEEP THE WELL NUTSFROM SPINING INTHE FAIRING BODY WHILE TIGHTENING THE CLEARVIEW WINDSHIELDON?

I did battle with mine for quite a while until I figured I had the wellnuts in backwards. The metal threads should be at the inward side of the fairing. I think I also tightened them a little first to make them snugger in the hole. It worked better for me to have the wellnuts threaded into the screws and on the faring and snugged then from one end to the other. It took me a long time to get it right. I ended up using a couple of the old wellnuts and the rest new. I also let one disappear into the fairing. I don't plan on removing it soon. Good luck.

Just push against the windshieldflat onthe flare of the wellnuts and fairingeach time you twist the screwdriver. Using new wellnuts and bushings helps a lot too. They're fairly inexpensive.
