I have a 2005 Ultra and, due either to my height (6'), custom seat (Russell Day Long), or both, I find that the handlebars cause me to hunch forward and, after relatively short amount of time, cause strain and muscle fatigue in shoulders, mid-back and neck. Others have indicated the same issue, with the remedy being replacement handlebars.
So, the question is this: HD has two possible solutions -- the "Reach" and the "Touring Pull Back" bars (each $49.95 plus cables); Wild-One has Chubby bars for the Ultra ($199.95 'stock cables sufficient').
Experiences with any of these? Price difference is significant, even if cables are purchased with the HD bars. Suggestions and opinions would be appreciated.
I am 6'1" and found the same thing on my 05 TC and the Ultra, my wife noticed it also. I had the HD reach bars on the 05 and now on the Ultra and am very happy with them. I now have a more relaxed position and my wife says that I look more relaxed in front of her. Yoy will have to extend all cables and lines for them though, a good excuse to go steelbraid, since you have to replace them anyhow.
Thanks for the quick reply. I'm probably going to swing by my local HD dealer and see if they have the Reach bars available for trying them out on the in-house stand/model.

There is really not much difference in price in the end...with the Harley bars you need to change the throttle, idle and clutch cables in addition also the front brake hoses. I used the Harley bars and am very happy with end result.
