Default Most popular Harley models

As you click into HDF and as you go down the forum categories one would have to believe that the "Touring" section has the most popular models. With:33,927 topics and 443,337 posts. Therefore I have to believe that us old farts and our Geezer Glides are taking over. Remember Baggers Rule.

Seems to me the touring section to be a little more mature and helpful!

I ride a bagger because I think back packs suck.

At 44 i'm not quite a geezer am I? lol...

Fromwhat I see on the road here in So Cal the touring models absolutley rule here. Not just amongst Harleys either, I mean of all motorcycles i see while out riding. Harleys and in particular Electra Glides and Road Kings are the most common bikes on the street of any type, even including crotch rockets.

If you ride daily and your bike is your primary transportation year around it just makes sense to have those big bags and tourpack cuz life involves shopping, carrying things to/from work, etc and you have to be able to carry things...

I'm 51, recently bought an ultra and wished I'd done it sooner or at least as soon as I got married. Trying to stack a tent, 2 sleeping bags etc... on a sissy limited necessities. The bagger is the way to go for 2 up long distance touring.

You have to own a bagger while you're still fit enough to man-handle the thing!

I'm 60 and have owned mine 18 years. Just about to 'lighten' it up with a 107 S&S...
