I have not read all 122 pages of the thread, but I will not let that stop me from posting my experience. I was 49 yesterday and have just sold my 2005 RKC I bought new in preparation of picking up my new RKC at the end of this month.
My Softail and Dyna riding mates will either call my RKC the Road Kill or the Road Clunker and my brother who rides a Deluxe calls it the Family Truckster, but they all stand in line to put their extra crap in the bags when we ride anywhere. I just love telling them no and listening to them sooking.
I chose this bike because I love the way it looks and the way it feels on the road. Not my fault their bikes look like **** with tacky add on bags.
