I just turned 37 and have had my 99 FLHRCI since 06. Wish i woulda bought a bagger when I was 18 instead of the rigid sportster i rode for so many years.

i had two sporties, a 92 springer, lowered (painful ride) and a few japanese bikes (cruisers and rockets) finally did what my dad (he owns a road king) told me to do years ago. back in 2004, i bought my first bagger, and i ll never go back to anything else. i was 26 when i go tit, and i was shopping for a deuce. dad is my height, long legged, and a good size fella too. he says to me," you are too big for that bike." i disagreed, he got on the bike, and i backed up a few feet, and he looked ridiculous on it, so i started thinking of a bagger. 2004 FLHRSI. love it. i also just got a 2000 FLHR, never go back to anything smaller again.

ride safe, cause they are all trying to kill you.....

Started with a 76 FLH at 19, 78 FLH stock bagger (except for the stroker, dual plugs, can, S&S air cleaner, 5 speed, etc.) at 35. Now at 58, '08 Ultra Classic - hey you can actually see out of these mirrors, and no shut has fallen off yet!

I turned 43 last month and I decided that I was young enough to treat myself to a 2011 FLHX. LOVE IT. I should have done it sooner.

Been riding since early 70's rode chops had springers in the 90's till 2007 built a prostreet softail rode my springer cross country 3 times fully loaded down two up at 400 to 500 miles I was really starting to get tired especially the 3rd day on than when you got to the hotel everything had to come off. 07 bought a FLHTC 500 to 600 miles are easy even on the last day of a 8300 mile trip and only had to take off the small roll bag strapped on the tour pack, I LOVE IT. AGE DOES NOT MATTER!!!!!
