just to throw in an age....... i'm 32, and just traded my dyna street bob off for my 2012 ultra classic....... LOVE IT!! i'm a proud member of the "geezer glide" club!!
Just sold my Softail, picking up my new FLHTK in a couple weeks. 43 years old, with mixed feelings about the new ride...guess a geezer glide was inevitable at some point. Most riders I know with electra glides are in their late 40's or 50's
i had second thoughts about it too.... till i rode it down the road and hit every pot hole and bump i could and it felt like a freaking Cadillac!!
i have service connected injuries (lower back and shoulder), and the dyna was good for about 30-45min (even with the mustang seat) then i had to stop... same with the wife... she'd get to tapping my shoulder i knew it was time to pull over.
i've seen a couple of them with out the fender bumpers, and the bag bars, and it takes some the the geezer look out of them lol!
