I started to order a two up fast back seat from C&C seats the other day. I was concerned because of a post I had read about about a month ago and a poor fitting seat on an 08 bike. I can't remember the guy or the bike. It was in the touring section though. Anyway I called them and there response was call back in a week and we should have the problems fixed with the 08 Street Glide issue. I did not palce an order. I guess I will call back but it won't be in a week. It will be after I get some feed back from this forum regarding wheather this fix is complete and satisfactory. I don't want to place an order only to have to send it back several times beacuse of poor fitment. Any 08 experience would help at this point as well as any experience with the two fast back. Did it move the riding position forward or back or up or down.
Thanks for the help..........
That was me with the seat that did not fit. C&C refunded my money but did not refund the shipping cost. I thought that was very tacky considering they sent me a defective product. It's just as well as that made me order a Corbin and it's a hundred times better quality and fit. Corbin redesigned their seats for the 2008 models and they are much softer. I've put over a thousand miles on this seat and it's very comfortable and everyone raves about it look and feel. I like the leather too.
I'm very pleased with my '07 C&C....great product and decent price.
don't write them off...they will get it right eventually.
I agree, I have a C&C for my solo cruising the quality of the seat is second to none, my only beef with the seat is it's hard as a rock and I even installed a gel pad in it and its still puts a hurt on me but it sure does look good on the bike.
dude...whats wrong with that fit....notta....i too have both C&C and Corbin...both have good and bad points

I thnk C&C seats have some really nice motorcycle seats and at a real nice price. My dealings with Chuck was very good, I would recommend them to anyone. The 08's required changes, there making the changes required and I think their 08 seats will be everybit as good as their previous seats.
I returned a defective item to Wal Mart the other day and was bummmed out that they wouldn't return my gas money.

The Corbin fits perfectly, never said otherwise and I can't find a single thing wrong with it. Since I've had both, my opinion is that the C&C seat is much harder than the Corbin.
hmmm....my corbin is the hard one....both needed some jigglin and figglin to make fit good....both are leather....wifey aint a corbin fan...i love em both....from your pics to me i couldnt see what didnt fit good as bothmy corbin and c&c fit about the same as the ones you have pictured

Corbin told me they are now stiching the seat cover to split-foam beginning with the 08 seats. They said they had too many problem with smooth leather in the past are would only offer smooth on custom orders. I agree, Corbin used to be the hard one but that has changed for 08 models and now they are a lot plusher.
Anyways, the Corbin fits perfect. Here is a pic of the C&C mishap.
