I don't know how it is where ya'll live, but the price of gas and diesel is higher than a giraffe's a$$ down here!!! I have a Ford F-250 Diesel and the cheapest fuel I've found is $3.49 per gallon and I've seen it as high as $3.70 per gallon!!! Heck, I can't afford to drive the damn thing now!!! As far asgasoline, it's already above $3.00 per gallon for regular unleaded and they say it'll be over $4.00 per gallon by the summer!!!
I've seen on T.V. that some of you are paying even more than what we're paying and I can't see how. The federal government says there's nothing they can do about it, well I say Bull S&%t!!! If they would impose an embargo on foreign oil and start using our own, it wouldn't take those third world countries long to buckle when their oil isn't selling anymore.
I'm sorry for ranting, but it seems every time we turn around fuel is going up and when it does so does everything else and our pay seems to stay the same!!! Hopefully someone here is in politics or has connections and can pass this rant along and if ya'll agree give this a bump and let them know how you feel about these outrageous prices we're paying for fuel!!!
Thanks for taking the time to put up with my rant, take care and ride safe..."D"
Part of the blame has to go to the "tree huggers" in this country who won't allow developement of our own resources or the construction of new refineries.
gas has a 100 a barrel price and its not going down... the Prince of sand in your *** arabia just purchased a untrided horse for 10 million dollars.. makes you wonder
i saw in the news the other day that somewhere over they had an auction for new license plate, it was #1. some arab bought it fpr 15 million. thats F-ing crazy!!!
Let's not forget the Exxon posted a record year in 2007 with some 30 Billion in profit! What do you expect when people keep electing rich people to congress. Elect a blue collar worker who has had to work pay-check to pay-check before and decide rather to pay the electric bill or the house payment.
supreme unleaded here is only about $3 right now. I'm sure it's higher at other stations, but not nearly as high as it was.
I think the government wants the cost high enough to make lots of money and to keep control a little better on movement, but that's probably just some foolish conspiracy theory.
We can suck every drop of oil outta the ground here in the US and it aint going to matter because its a supply and demand thing and the demand is way beyond the supply. Wait till China and in the very near future India start wanting to live like we do in the US etc. its going to get VERY ugly. I'm not a "tree hugger" but a realist.....
The sad thing about all this is that we are awash in oil in North America and the price
is sky high. Sure makes you wonder where this is all going........!
Thanks to all the commodity trader jerkoffs.
