I thought the deal was if we rebuilt Iraq in exchange we was supposed to get oil at a cheaper price. And yet the price of gas is at a all time high. I'm not even going to get started on politics.
Trade the truck if you can. I have a Vortech 350 and with lawn trailer it gets $50 a week and haven't filled it up yet. I remember when it only got $30 a week in fuel. Looks like I may be going to $60 a week. Hell I'll have to cut a yard just for fuel.
Now you have to look at real world prices. The British pay over 5 bucks per gal. now and have for quite some time. We still have some of the best oil prices in the world. Another thing you don't see anyone slowing down.
My RKC is my main ride rain or shine. My truck only moves if itis working.
Spring break is right around the corner and a whole bunch of people are about to hit the road for a little vacation time. The oil companies are very aware of this.
It is the fault of the speculators. They are controlling the present and future prices. While I realize that this is a free market, and the way to bring prices down is for people to stop the recreational driving; still, these futures dealers need to be reigned in....
It would be nice if we open new areas to drill for our own oil. I am sure that Algore will eventually agree with this, so he can make sure that he has enough fuel for his private jet and multiple SUVs.
$3.49 - $3.69 around here for 97 oct (and it's Calif Crap Gas) - and according what I heard on TV News last night with oil going to $100.00 per barrel - We can count on over $4.00 per gal by Sept????
Need to build more refineries. Although the price of diesel is artificially high on purpose. The oil companies were already doing that before oil skyrocketed.
But ya'll just keep votin' for those republicrats. They'll save us![sm=hail.gif]

Already tried, there's more diesel trucks for sell around here than you can shake a stick at!!! When I bought it diesel was high, but man it's beyond high now!!! I realize we have the cheapest fuel around, but I thought we carried a big enough stick to make sure we're not screwed, but it seems we're falling just like the rest of the world. It's a damn shame we're paying over a $100.00 per barrel of oil... I have a Friend that works offshore and he said it only cost between $17 & $20.00 per barrel of crude that's coming from the rigs in the gulf!!! That [sm=badbadbad.gif]me up!!!
