Brake questions
1. Can the rear brake light switch be adjusted to come on sooner? Seems as though the friction starts before the light comes on.
2. Front brake lever and/or master cylinderhas a sorta "squishing" noise when pre-ride testing brakes...Can/should it be lubed with silicone or some other spray? I looked in the shop manual and it does not appear to have a dust boot or anything of that nature...Never noticed that odd noise in the past.

Nope...it is pressure activated. It is not like older bikes with the lever and a return spring.

Lubricate the pivot pin for the brake lever and there is a seal where the plunger enters the master cylinder to prevent junk from entering. Spray Silicone or a light oil with teflon in any of those areas is OK.
