Default Big Sucker for a 05 FLHTI?
Do they make this yet?

I did the exhaust,installed the DFO,and now I need to do the AC to complete this phase of upgrades.

My question is this;Can I just install a K&N?Or do/should I change the base plate for better hp gains?

K&N has an intake kit with a new backing plate and filter and other needed items to upgrade

this is available for about $105 at autozones if you have one nearby. You reuse your stock cover, the kit has a new beauty/trim ring also

Ive got the big sucker on my 05 R.K., I couldnt be happier. Have had great luck with it.
