I know there is a long thread on heal shifers, but I have a slightly different question. I don't usually use mine, because I find it too high to be comfortable. It can't be lowered much or it hits the floor board. I also have a Kawasaki Vulcan and one of the few things I do like about it is that the heal shifter comes down behind the floor board. It can thus be set much lower and more comfortable to use.
Does anyone know of either a longer heal shifter or a floor board that can be moved forward to allow the shifter to come down behind the floor board
E-Z shifter makes brake and shifter arms that will suit you. they usually advertise in American Iron magazine. They may have a website but I am not sure. I use them and they work well and look good.
