I've found that if you have to ride over/hit something, try to hit it square as possible. Makes for a better landing.

Not sure about this, but could you have "bruised" the tires from that? Not sure how much confidence I'd have with the tires now. I've seen cager tires that have hit a bad pot-hole and the side wall blows up like a balloon due to the bruising and theweak spot caused by it.
I would have gotten that guys info and get some new tires out of that dumb-***! Glad you're ok man - great thinking and thanks for sharing - not sure if I would have done that same thing if faced with that same senario, butNOW I know what I'd do!!!

Glad everything "came out" alright!

You could have always beat him with the ladder. I am sure everyone else there would understand.

Just Kidding. Glad you are OK. Makes you a more confident rider.

You know the only reason this guy needed a boot up his ***? He didn't even apologize or say he was sorry. Jerk [:@]

Glad you got over the damn thing, I kinda agree I think you were in shock to not have given the guy a piece of your mind. Good post to remind all of us of just another idiot on the roads.
