Couple things to note that might help someone else. I kept being told that I would need to lengthen the wiring. That's not true (in my case)
I had found there was quite a bit wound up in the fairing. With some re-routing their should be plenty. The deutch connectors are not that
bad to disassemble, make a good wire map and your good to go. You maybe need to go with a +1" clutch and throttle if you want to go to
braided stainless, but it's not absolutely necessary. I did replace the brake line. I bought a one piece block with hardlines and ran the
braided lines to the calipers. The upper hose is now replaceable to any length needed.

I guess I have a couple dayz to think about the bars. Going to drop off the inner fairing to be painted today.

Lastly, I don't trust my memory so I took pictures of the wiring and fairing assembly.

I think the 513 look better and are a more natural wrist position. I went with the 08 HD Police Bars.

RD, I too was thinking about going with the 08 Police Bars for my 08 Road Glide. Do you think you like them better than the 508's or 513's? Did you have to change anything as far as cables or any problems with ABS? Please share your experience with this combination, as I think this is the way I will go, unless the MOCO comes out with some new things this spring. Thanks
PS: Are the 08 Police Bars the same as the old Heritage type bars and if you know the dimensions I'd appreciate that too, since dimensions are not specified in the Police parts book?

mtb017....I knew someone was going to corner me. I do not yet have them installed. I just picked them up last week and the weather here has not been very good lately so I have not been in a rush to put them on. I think they are very similar to the Heritage Bars. The "Heritage" bars do not have the grooves for the FBW throttle so ordering the police bars took care of that. When I sat on a police bike the bars felt just like a Heritage. The seat may have been a tad different but it had the height and pull back I was looking for. I didn't need much but I did have a little shoulder blade issue with the stock bars. Sorry, I wishI could be of more assistance at this time, but I can update when I get them put on. I will also be going with the 08 ISO grips as well.

Thanks RD!
Keep me posted either by PM or Email when you get it done. I'm very interested in this exact Mod for mine.

Dropped off the inner the stuff for paint. Maybe have it back by the weekend. Appreciate the feedback. RD hope
those Police bars work out for you.

I think the 508's look better with the lines of the bike, but I think the 513's will be more comfy for the long haul. I vote for the 513's!!! Bryan
