SERT vs PCIII
Latus ran a base dyno with the PCIII and then again after installing the SERT.
Here are the facts
1. Gained only 1.5 horsepower with the SERT.
2. SERT - Max HP 74.41, Max torque 90.16
3. PCIII - Max power 72.92 Max torque 88.42
4. AFR was 14 to 15 with the PCIII
5. AFR is now 13 with the SERT.
6. MPG went from 38 to 45.
Time will tell if how hot the bike runs this summer. I'm running synthetic and an oil cooler now so I hope it's better then last summer.
My overall impression is good with the SERT. Nothing added to the bike and nothing bypassed (02 sensors). Also do not have the delayed starting issue that was a small problem with the PCIII.
Bike is smoother on and off the throttle. I'm guessing that it was running too rich with the PCIII based on the dyno sheet and the MPG numbers.
Was it worth nearly $700? Time will tell.

If this is correct I would think the PCIII is lean? I agree why would milage go down with pcIII?
700.00 does that include the race tuner or 700.00 labor only?
Glad it worked out anda couple of ponies and gas mileage it might even pay for itself over time.

Haven't put enough miles on it to get very good MPG numbers.
I got the SERT on Ebay for $240. The dyno at Latus was $460.
Did a search and came up with a great explanation of AFR. It's down a ways in this thread; http://www.HDForums.com/m_825928/tm.htm
Makes me wonder when people say they're getting 50 MPG. How??
