Yeah, this might be a little off topic but this is the thread I hang out in and this shop is for all the "toys" I own.
A little history here; I lived away from my family for close to year because of a job transfer I took. I lived in a 5th wheel trailer while our home was being built. I didn't want to pull my kids out of school at the time too, it was hard enough as it was. Well the house got built and we all moved in to it last September. We love our home, I love my garage (26' X 32') but I needed more. The wife finally said yes to me building a shop! I was so excited! The shop will match my home (Hardy board siding, vinyl windows with grids, comp roof, cedar in the gable and stone rock front). It is a perfect time to build the shop before we do the fence, sprinkler system, continuous curbing and then landscaping.
Pictures make it look bigger then it really is. It's only 24'X 32' but those are 16' walls (21' to the ridge cap). That was as big as I could go. I went up because I will have a loft up above, half will be a bedroom (guest room) other half will be storage. Now I'm looking for a lift for the other side of the shop.
I designed it with no trusses and added a 7' gable in the front. I wanted to add some depth to it.
Party at my place? HAHAHAHA, that would be just great.... Neighbors are already pissed because of the shop then I would have how many bikers at my shop for a party? Wait, that would be awsome!!!
