Seems we all have something in mind we would like to change on our bike but can't because of $$$$.
I'd love to havecustom chrome rims and engine work but WOW "BIG dollars" involved there.
Thought it may be interesting to find outwhat some of the rest of you are doing without.
Lots of stuff but on the realistic side I too would like to have some rims! $$ are hard to come by here so I do what I can myself to save a $ or two. Other than that I would like to have a rear fender off an RG with filler panels. Sometime this stuff will come little by little!
Its all about the money. For me, I'd like to have new rims, rotors and tires.
I could put a set a quality rims on my truck and the wifes car for less than 2 on my bike. Something ain't right with that. Capitalism at its best.
Lesse..RIMS, paint inner fairing, switch to spun alumn gauges, LED system for better visibility..to name a few. Er..but wow takes mucho dinero and riding season is on. Will wait and save for next winter.
PS..oh btw..a complete Hawg Wired system would be damn nice too!
I would like the rear end of my 08 UC to be all LED lights, have the tourpak brake/running lights also work as signal lights and have something like a back-off module to flash them all when I hit the brakes. I know the solutions are out there, but will likely have to wait until next winter as money now is going toward this summers rides.
