What did all that run you $$$? And what all did you have done? I am wanting to do the forks, the nacelle and maybe the crash bar. I want a figure to compare when I get some quotes. No comment on the job thing?

That looks sweet, can you email me some pics? PM me for my address, thanks.
I live near Portland, OR & Vancouver, WA area, does anyone know a powder coater in the area?
Thanks for the compliment. I hate to admit it, but I don't have many pics of my bike an none since I added a bunch of powdercoated parts. However, I'm going to add a new set of wheels here pretty soon and expect I'll need to snap a few pics when I'm doneMost o. I'll keep you in mind when I get em done.
As for paint vs powdercoat, when it comes to black, I can't tell the difference. I had the front end and air filter on my bike set up by the dealer, so it's all H-D parts. I added a black H-D engine guard but all the other trim pieces I've done, were powercoated locally. I think you'll save $$$ in the long run using a local shop to do your powdercoat. Just ask around for a good shop. The first place I used took three weeks to do a dirt bike frame I took them. The place I'm using now often has the parts done the same day. Guess which shop I like better.
08 Street Glide.. so far, black crash bars and bag guards. black 9 spoke rims going on.. Want to get true duals and slip-on's BLACK.
And of coarse. the ft. end. HHMM what else??
Well it didn't take me long to find a place and he's 15 miles from me, is a block from my local H-D shop and does stuff for them. I asked him for a ballpark on the forks, engine guard and nacelle and he told me about $125-$150. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised on how inexpensive it is. Now I see why you guys get addicted to black-out bikes. NowI just have to decide when to tear my bike apart.
P.S. I showed the wife some of your pics and she said go for it. Now I'm thinking maybe the rims....
FYI: ABS'ers, I am working with a local INDY shop on an extended brake line for the bike. I may not need them if I go with a Baby-Ape, but if I go any taller I will. I'll keep you posted.
