Anyone change over to a blacked out front end vs going chrome on a RKClassic? I am thinking about it for my 08 and want to see some pics if anyone has it. Also, has anyone gone with a black a/c cover to match their bike? Pics? Thanks guys/gals
P/M me your email address and I will send some pics over of my blacked-out 2004 RK Custom. I've had almost every piece of chrome powdercoated, except for that nice, shiny v-twin engine in the middle. And trust me...take your parts and have them powdercoated. Yeah, a little more time involved, but way, wayless money.
Thanks Bastard
Come on, I am having a hard time believing this is the only guy out there doing a blacked out front end or even some components done..................
Im in the process of doing it and I have no pictures yet, ill keep you posted though. I have an 07' RKCustom that Im blacking out. Love the look and the low maintenance.
It ain't a RK but it's getting blacker (is that a word?) every day-- including the air cleaner. I agree with Bastard on powdercoat. Find a good shop and take your parts in for coating.

That looks sweet, can you email me some pics? PM me for my address, thanks.
I live near Portland, OR & Vancouver, WA area, does anyone know a powder coater in the area?
DAWG, I forgot you did that to your bike. Are those H-D black parts? I am going to compare the powder coat to the replacements and see what I like best. I knew I could count on you to post something. Just curious, do you have a job or are you hired by the forum as a consultant
Thanks, Dawg
For a big *** bike it sure looks nice!
