Great idea on the snaps. I have the 3 pouch model and sure do like it. I have my garage opener in one side, the middle has my riding glasses, and I have one spare for other stuff.
I found a small 5 pocket magnetic bag at Hudson's Leather that I use. It holds my cell phone, garage door opener and other small items. When I get off the bike, just take in the house or throw it in the saddle bag. I never really cared for the look of the pouches near the windscreen.
I had the 3 pouch... But i added the radar detector... so i am now ordering the 2 pouch....
hey creep, you want my three pouch? $50 but the catch is you have to wait until at least April 1 for me to get it in the mail... it's in my housing stuff..
that gets delivered end of March. as soon as i did it out I will get it in the mail..
i just got transfered to berlin, germany, remember?
let me know.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I will stay away from the 3 pouch just because my short screen. Plus like MODCOBRA said, I too am not crazy about having them up on the windshield. If I did I think I would go with 1 maybe two pouch set up. I am looking for alternative ideas...
I use the large single pouch, with a 6" shield you don't see the bag from the front at all.
This is the route I am thinking, but hasn't anyone have alternative ideas. Possibly mounted a pouch or bag on the lower portion of the fairing. Thinking a lowers glovebox pouch mounted down low on the fairing?? Here is a couple pics of the bag and placement I was thinking... Ideas?
How you going to mount it to the lower fairing? I was going to order the 2 pouch, I am putting on a shorter windshield, and the radar detector.... But I need it for my ipod how else can I mount the ipod?

I am not affraid to drill holes in my inner fairing and pop rivit it if I am sure that is where I want it. There are alot of IPOD mounts that clamp to your bars ect. I mounted my MP3 using the alastic arm band and wrapped it around the bars, then I have a neopreem cover that uses a belt clip and it clips in.
