Fairing storage/pouch mounted (UPDATE)
I sure miss my pouch I had in the stereo compartment but wouldn't trade it for the tunes. I just wondered if everyone uses a windshield bag for small stuff like your cell, smokes, or keys. Any other ideas for small storage with quick access on the fairing? Not sure if I want a bag up on the top.

I like my 3 pouch bag on the windshield. It is easy to reach. I also have the liners in my lower gloveboxes and just added the outside pouch pockets to the glove box doors. handy accessable storage for small stuff.

Heres what I did. I didn't like the 3 pouches all the time, but when traveling, it's nice to have all 3. I used a regular heavy duty snap kit to put them on.

I did just about the same thing with velcro!!! I put my radar detector in the middle with velcro and could put the bag back on as well and it worked out great.

I had the 3 pouch... But i added the radar detector... so i am now ordering the 2 pouch....
hey creep, you want my three pouch? $50 but the catch is you have to wait until at least April 1 for me to get it in the mail... it's in my housing stuff..
that gets delivered end of March. as soon as i did it out I will get it in the mail..
