All this rodent in the bike stuff has me paranoid now. I just ordered 25 glue traps on Ebay. $14.99 shipped for 25 of them.
I've never used a glue trap before. Do I have to kill the little suckers when they get caught?
You havetwo choices:

1) Mash his little Rat head!!!

or

2) Throw him in the garbage can and listen to him squeak for days (still don't know how the live that long)

I prefer #1... I hate Rats!!!

Had mice in my house a few years ago....I tried every kind of trap I could find at Home Depot, Lowes, and on the internet....musta caught 40 of the little bastards and still had mouse turds showing up. Finally got a bunch of Decon mouse and rat poison and haven't had another one for the last 3 years....but at least once a year I put a little more bait around the crawl space under the house and around the garage. A rat or mouse can fit through any hole they can fit their head in, somehow they can squeeze their bodies through holes not much bigger than a nickel, so its really hard to mouse-proof a house, or especially a garage.

Do you have the Black and Decker sound wave deal??? lol I saw one at Home Depot and nearly bought it but wanted to thin the herd a little bit first.

We live on a wooded lot that backs up to a very large green belt that runs unbroken to the Trinity River and the largest woodland park in the area. Needless to say, we've had every kinda critter on the deck at one time or another and I more or less put up with them. But I ain't gonna put up with rats. I got plans to put out poison that should be dog proof once I kill every last one of them SOBs that have set up shop in my shop. lol

I keep thinking of the line from the Clint Eastwood movie, The Unforgiven. Allow me to paraphrase:

"All right, I'm coming out. Any rat I see out there, I'm gonna shoot him. Any sumbitch runs across my garage floor, I'm not only gonna kill him, but I'm gonna kill his wife, all his friends, and burn his damn house down." [sm=yikesomg.gif]

I'm up to five as of this morning, all on big nasty rat traps. I've tried glue traps under my deck before but these sucker are so big, all I ever got was a bunch of fur. Plus, there's something very satisfying about chunking their carcasses out in the woods for some other varmint to snack on.
