Way to go Steve. I'm sure you will be pleased with the results. You did your homework like usual and seem to be (from your posts) meticulous when working on your bike. I'm sure it's gonna be a runner.
I'm sure the compression bump & larger intake will help make the new cams rock! I was suspecting that the "secret" was gonna be the intake valves...
Another thing you'll notice as soon as you roll out is that the sound is gonna be better as a result of the same two items mentioned above.

I was planning on staying with stock valves, but Bean convinced me to to with the 1.9 Kibblewhite's since the heads were off..........better to do it now then to remove them again next year. I opened the valve pockets on the pistons up just a little bit to play it safe, and everything is sounding great.
15000 miles on my heads since they were off the last time, no oil leaks or anything around the valve seals or in the ports. There was a bit of carbon in the chambers and on the pistons, but the valves all looked great. The cylinder walls still looked like brand new, no scoring or scratches at all. Cleaned the tops of the pistons off with a razorblade and a scotch brite pad....made them look like new again.
I can't wait to go for a ride..........thinking about today, but 35* with a 35 mph wind just isn't too appealing to me..........LOL
