The thing I found with that set up is the little tin flap they use to open the door wears out and the door gets harder to spring open.
So what I did was get a small but firm spring about 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch and run one of the dash bolts though it. It works better then the metal clip thing.
The smooth door came with the bike but on my O8 Ultra I obtained a push button latch assembly and just 5 min later had replaced the Key assembly with the push button, So even though they don't have the door yet your dealer should be able to get or have the push button assembly.
