I love in Mass so I always go up as day trips two or three days.. ride around, look at the pretty girls, bikes, buy a T-shirt. The last weekend the access roads get jammed very badly and it's not fun if you don't know the right routes to come in.
I will take some of the week off prior to Laconia and maybe go over to Americade, where there is even better riding and roads to be had, with still a pretty mile manneredcrowd.
PS Bring your rain gear, there is always some rain.
