I forgot to mention how many people actually pulled over allowing me to pass them today on my ride from Long Beach. If they were in front of me and didn't want to drive as fast as I was riding they would ease over in their lane and give me a free pass. There had to be atleast 10 Cagers do that fo me. I guess as long as you out in the country in Southern California and not on the freeway the people are extreml nice and considerate. Thanks alot to all you So Cal people!!!
Hmm...what were you wearing? When I wear a full face and a red jacket no body lets me by. When I wear a half helmet and some leather almost everybody lets me by.
I always wonder when someone pulls over if there a ride, or if there just scared to **** off some crazy biker never thought they were just being polite.
You don't see that happening in New England, especially Mass.
There will be three lanes, no traffic and people just drive in the fast lane.
I'm orginally from Wis. and when people are done passing they move to the slower lanes.
I've been living here for awhile now, and I'm still amazed how selfish, lazypeople are out here.
I think it's laziness because no one uses blinkers either.
Best thing I've learned from riding a bike all these years is watch those front tires.
A lot of cagers either ride or know some one who does.
I see a lot of people moving over to let lane splitters have a little more room to pass.
Glad you had a good time!!!
You got that right. In 85 my wife and I and another couple road up there and they sure scared the heck outta us with those roundy rounds and no stop or yield signs. Ever take those scary a-- bridges to Newport, R.I.. That's one scary trip when everybodys bearing down on ya and there's no where to go. Geez, I get goosepimples just thinkin about that
