In PA the passing lane is for passing only. If your caught driving in the passing lane (other than just passing) you can be ticketed. It's a relatively new law that most people don't know about.

Here is Texas the cagers in the country are very polite and almost always pull over (sometimes onto the shoulder) to allow you to pass. In the cities, with all the liberal out-of-staters it is totally different. Some will, most won't. I have noticed that when I wear my leathers the cages are more apt to move over.

When I bought my Road King I wondered why so many people were pulling over to let me by when they wouldn't before on myNightrain. Thena co worker mentioned that my new bikewith the extra lights on it made it look like a police bike. I think people pull out of my way afraid that I'm a copabout to pull them over.
