Default Detach Tourpack

If I put a quick detach tourpack kit on my 08 Ultra can I use the docking for a detach passenger backrest? OR do I need to buy another type of docking kit for the backrest? Inquiring minds need to know. My luck they won't work together, tell me it ain't so...................

Your right. You're not lucky. Each item requires it's own mounting hardware. The backrest sits too far forward to meet up with the tourpac mounting hardware. If you had the solo tour pac mounting hardware it might meet up with the passenger backrest, but then you would need to put a seat on the fender for the passenger. Ahhh it gets complicated.

You need 2 seperate docking kits (if you aren't buying the solo detachable tour pack rack) but you can have them both on the bike at the same time.

Let me see if I got this right? Right now I have the detatchable rack and the backrest, each with their own docking kits; eventually I'll get a tourpack. Please tell me I don't need another docking kit??? Say it ain't so!

cmcsns,
You are in luck! The docking hardware for your luggage rack will also work for the tour pac.
