XM Upgrade

Has anyone ever added the XM module to their Street Glide themselves? If so, how difficult was it?

Remove outer fairing, install module on top of radio, install antenna bracket, run antenna wire,run auxilary harness,install fairing. Dont forget to hold fairing so it doesnt fall on front fender.

I added it to my UC no problems at all just make sure you purchase the wiring harness that is sold seperate.

takes about an hour, anyone can do it pull the fairing (outer) place the xm module on top of radio, install one screw to hold in place, plug the antenna into moodule, place antenna clip mount into fairing, again, one screw holds in place, last step before replacing fairing is to plug additional (purchased seperately) wiring harness suppliment into factory harness, you are done as soon as you reinstall the outer fairing....
