First mods done!
Just completed the first modifications to my bike. I added a SE air cleaner, V&H Fuelpak, and V&H basic slip-ons. Entire operation was very easy for a novice bike mechanic (me) and took about an hour. Hardest part was removing the stock mufflers. I am very pleased with the new sound andthrottle felt a bit more responsive.
I think this was a good way to go for me. I was primarily interested in a little better sound. Hopefully the increased air flow will also offer some other less obvious benefits.

By indicating "first" you're acknowledging that this is an ongoing process that never truly ends.
Admitting there's a problem is the first step in recovery. Chromitis can be devastating if left unchecked. =)

Grats on the new ride, and welcome to the forums.
