I am looking at the buying the basic Ultra Glide w/ fuel injection. $12,395 in basic black. To get out the door , add 275 for security system, 325 for laced wheels, 225 for freight, 100 for EIF, 150 for set up, 150 for fuel injection set up, sales tax of 915 = 14,480 Title and license are 103 for a total of 14,583. Does this sound fair?
Ext. Service plan for 2 years = 719...How about this aand why is my dealer only showing 2 years?
Dealer provides 2 free T-shirts, full tank of gaas, No documentation fees, free HOG membership and a free calendar with a picture of me and my Harley.
Next question: They provide free labor on qualified accessories installed at time of new cycle purchase. This does not include “mods” so the buckhorn bars and offset riser I want would be 3 ½ hours labor...175. Also I assume if I wanted forward extensions or a Stage I or Stage II installation there would be labor charges.
It seems to me that installing a new seat (the solo reach seat and passenger pillion), sissy bar and bolt on mufflers should be things which could easily do myself. My dealer will be having an open house and sale on parts later this month. Why not buy from them then and save money...is it just because it is easier to come up with the money when financing the entire package.
Finally, they’re willing to install Auxiliary Passing lights, relocation turn signal kit and Quick release Windshield (total of about 775 and not charge labor...Don’t they have to deal with the handlebars in doing this?
Thanks for any help possible. I’m just trying to get as much bike as I can afford. BTW, has anybody financed like $1500 worth of parts and mods at time of initial purchase w/out specifying what they are and to be bought and installed later? TIA, Art
Don't know where you got those prices. Even on a basic Electraglide standard the msrp is $14,995 plus another $400 for fuel injection. A two year waranty should be standard he must be talking about an aditional 2 years. Is this bike an 05?
