I went round

Replaced the football and cowbell with some plain old circles. Me likes the look alot better. Not sure how I feel about how much the a/c cover shows the backplate. Wouldn't bother me so much if it was chrome.

Put the same AC cover on my Fat Boy. I like the plain look ... not every damn piece on the bike needs to read Harley.

I did the same on mine last week and really like the look. I didn't like the look of the back plate either, so I took it off and painted it black. It's less noticeable. I'd put a chrome one on but don't want to spend the bucks when such a small part of it shows. Bike looks good!

I did the exact same thing on both sides when I had my Low Rider. you can buy a chrome back plate if it bothers you too much...that's what I did for the same reason.
