just picked up my 08 ultra classic today with rush 2in baffles se hi flow and sert after 26 miles the mufflers are starting to turn gold already so is the front pipe near the brake peddle not pleased at all and not happy with the overall performance either its a dog

I put Rush pipes on my EG two years ago and no problems. However, I put in a DFO and I know that I am not running rich. I think someone mentioned, the HD downloads are still going to run lean. Although I had the bike on a dyno out in Sturgis, I think the altitude and running 89 octane forced me to make some minor adjustments to the DFO when we got home. My problem is boot rubber on the right pipe by the footboards

I decided to have the dealer replace the Rush pipes they said where defective. I have also ordered a fuel pack to put on after they do there work. Vance and Hines has a setting to use for The stage 1 ecm flash from harley and the rush slip ons with 2" baffles. Power commander did not. The fuel pack also has the setting for Rineharts with the stage 1 harley download if I decide to go whith those later so I made the decision that this was probably the best direction to go. I would suggest that anyone who installes the rush pipes think twice about the harley download and go ahead and install some type of fuel management.
