Now i'm mad!!!
I bought new frenched passing light rings and they dont fit right. (just like everyone elses) Now my passing lights are out of adjustment from trying to get them on and i dont have "the" socket to fit them.[:@]And to top it all off i think my passing light bar might be bent because i just notice that the lights are offset to one side like this: o0 o I got sofrustrated last night i just locked up the shop and went in the house.

You can use an old 1/2 " deep well socket and just cut a groove in it with a whiz wheel, if they are that loose or just read in the manual how to adjust them. If I remember the left passing light does point off to the left more, but it's all in the manual. As far as the rings get them to close as much as possible, I think theres a piece of chrome tape to hide the gap....

Never heard of the passing light trim rings not fitting, just the headlamp ring. The passing lamp rings are simple to install - take off the old rings, install lights in the new ringsand you're done. You'd have to work pretty hard to knock the lamps out of alignment just by installing the rings.
