I have the 8" smoked. It is not as dark as the dark grey so I can still see through it. I look over it generally but it is nice to be able to see things right in front of the bike.

RE: SG...Clear Windshield???
I'm 6'4" and have the 8" recurve in black, I can see over it fine and the protection is great; I think a 6.5" would have been enough tho, have to try that one next
Im going to buy the 6.5" Recurve. I have an 8" smoked now, I didnt think it would work that well so I got a tallerone.
No biggie, I'm sure I can sell it when I get my new one in.
I think theyre great!
I had to go with the 14" smoked recurve because the wife rides on the back - anything shorter and it blows her head around. The thing about the Clearview is you can use Rain X on it - so you can see through it during the rain - which happened to me 2 weeks ago.......no problems on my end
