SG...Clear Windshield???
Just put on the ClearView windshield. 8.0 inch with recurve in dark tint. First, I think I should have gone with the 6.5 inch as the 8.0 seems just a bit to tall. Second, with the dark tint I can hardly see anything through the shield which I'm uncomfortable with.
So I think I may exchange it for the6.5 inch clear version. I know it doesn't look as good but I'm more about function then style.
Anyone have a PIC of a SG with a clear windshield on it. Please post.

I just bought a new Crimson red SG and want to get a taller windshield. I was thinking 8 or 9". Can you still see over the 8"? I want something I can still see over but also blocks the wind better. Thought you may be able to point me in the right direction.

I have an SG and had a *" Slipstreamer windshield from motosport for $52, it was the dk/smoked one. I used it for awhile but I night it got to the point where it was scaring me because I could not see thourgh it. I'm 6'2" and it was hard to see over it, granted it depends on your seat. I ordered the 6" and it's much better. I don't like the clear and the smoke was not dark enough sooo that's my story and I'm sticken to it.

Hey Crusher, how was the wind protection from the clearview? I'm thinking about getting one of these myself, but I prefer the look of the shorter shields. I have a four inch on right now. It looks cool, but zero wind protection.

I'm 5'10" and just barley see over the 8 inch. Wind protection is excellent. Hope the 6.5 is as good or at least close. Maybe I'll try the light tint on the next one.

I am 5'11" and just ordered the CV 9.5 Smoked with a recurve, hope it is not too tall.
