Well I am sad to say that the most unexpected thing happend to me 2 weeks ago.
I was ejoying a nice ride home from monterey and i was cut off by a friend on his streetbike- sadley trying to avoid splattering him all over the freeway i ended up taking a big one for the team and sliding down hwy 101 @ 70+ , In the end im left with 2 broken ankles minor rash and 1 less person to ride next to or with in the future.

Wow, really sorry to hear that, wish you a quick recovery. Things like that have made me very very selective about who I'll ride with, some folks just don't seem to bring much situational awareness on the road with them and are safer riding alone. They forget that riding with others brings some responsibility. Godspeed
Sorry about your wreck but it appears you have a good attitude about riding again. The main thing is that you will ride after healing. At 70 mph on a crowded highway, the results could have been far different. Heal quickly and well. The wind is awaiting your return.
Glad to hear you're okay. I've never done a 70 mph slide on the highway but it has to be a helluva scary ride. Get yourself healed and then use the bike repair as part of your physical therapy.
