I use mine all the time. Wouldn't have a bike without one, but then I take a lot of trips where I go 300-500 miles a day for several days. If you usually don't ride more then 100 miles it is probably a waste of money.
Most folks with it will tell you they love it. I'm never going to own a bike without it if it can be put on. I spend a lot of time enjoying the country side, it's nice to not have to watch my speed. In the cold you can always warm your right hand on the engine, with cruise it lets the left hand warmup too.

I second that...Sealed the deal Yeatersay on my 2008 SG that I ordered with Cruise, I was torn if I was wasting my money...I also added Anti-lock breaks
