When I picked up my new Ultra, I didn't think I would ever use the cruise. After about ten minutes on the highway (and looking at another 200+ miles to home) I figured I would give it a shot. Wow! It is soooooo nice. Makes the long rides that much more comfortable and enjoyable.

Cruise is a great add... I use mine all the time. As already said, if you're not planning long trips why bother.
I ride with guys who don't have it and I just tell them pace off me I'll be on cruise!!

I think cruise control has and will continue to save me from speeding tickets. I have a bad habit of riding faster and faster as the day goes by on long trips. It's nice to just set the cruise and enjoy the ride and know you are at the speed you should be without constantly checking the spedometer.
