Twin HID's installed in a 08 RG. There were a few trick to getting them in if you want to try this yourself. Not so much on the wiring side, but the weather boot and turn ring modification to get them over the bigger head.
I purchased the kit from FastHarley (Howard) here on the form. He was great to work with and had a lot of great idea's.
There's about 60 pictures of the install and 3 videos on the test out side the bike, How the bulbs move to get you high/low beam from a single bulb and how the lights react on start up of the bike.
Here's the link to the HID's and Howard here:

Thanks for the post...I've been looking for a HID system for my Road Glide....how do you like them? Also, did you buy one or two kits?

I did have to buy 2 kits. Howard did work with me on the price due to this. The kits come with all the wiring that you will need. He suggested going back to the battery, but I just plugged into the stock headlight plug ins. This is also included in the kit.
I took pictures of all the modifications that you will have to do in order to makethe lights fit in the lenses. The rest was easy to do. I would move the igniter's away to the side, but I was worried about having enough slack in the wiring to lay the fairing down to un-plug it for removal.
It looks fantastic!! The pictures do not do it justice.

Don't know if you have any other accessories ie: XM or GPS, but if you do, did you encounter any electrical interferance (ticking, static, noise) when you started your bike? I've heard...that sometimes you might get the noise because of the ignitors and electrical current driving the HID bulbs. Just curious. Thanks for the info again!!!
In the 3rd video, I powered on the lights, then started the bike. There was very little flicker when I hit the started button. In fact, the more I think about it...I think it actually turned over better because of having less draw on the battery after the lights were on. Sure, there is the initial ignition of the bulbs that draw some power, but because they draw less, it doesn't have to work as hard starting and replenishes the battery faster.
If you look at Howards site, I think they put the ballast and igniters right in the head light nacelle.
