Stealership!!!!!!
Sorry that I wasn't more clear. I couldn't shop around to begin with because with the deal of my bike came $2000 in parts and accessories. So the stealership ordered the parts. I couldn't just shop around for the cheapest prices and then tell my dealer to purchase the parts through other vendors. They dropped the ball by not ordering the parts as originally planned so when they did go to order the parts they were on back order. They kept lying to me saying that the parts would be in by the end of the week. Well, that was 2 and a half weeks ago. So I raised a stink this past Saturday. I want all $2000 in parts as agreed in contract to be used. So since I found the parts and now my stealership has purchased the parts for $132 cheaper.......I want that extra money. $2000 was agreed to and I want to use all $2000. $132 could go towards another part or parts or service. I hope that I'm being clear.

Sounds like your getting ALL the parts you agreed on and now you want more.
Parts go on and off of back order ALL the time, dealers dont have control over when a part is received from a third party supplier.
You got your parts you got your bike. Be HAPPY and enjoy it!!!!!!!!
You don't say what the parts are, but if you would have saved the $132 you would have to install them - sounds to me like there gonna install them too - so some of that $$$ is for labor I think...

Alright, I wanted to get everyones opinion before I head to the dealership after work. I'm pretty heated. I caught my dealership.....excuse me......stealership in a lie. A $132 dollar lie. A lie that I have proof of. Long story short, I've had my bike at the dealership since Feb. 4th due to the crappy weather. I worked out a deal to have it stored for free until the weather became better. Well, the weather is good enough to have it delivered at least so I called. Supposedly, a few of the parts I ordered through my dealer were on back order but were supposed to be in two weeks ago. Well, it's two weeks later. I hate miscommunication. So they put blame on who they were ordering the parts through. Well, I found the parts I want for my SG through one of this forums sponsors. Actually, for $132 cheaper. I already paid for these parts at a higher price. I told the stealership that I wanted them to order these parts today and I want them on my bike by Wednesday. So today I receive an email from my stealership that the parts are now in from the original company they purchased them through. A lie because I had the company that sponsors this site call me when my stealership called. So I have proof in email that they lied.
How much hell should I raise?????????????

Based on your reaction I take it they agreed to sell you $2000.00 worth of parts at their cost with no dealer mark up or profit because that is what you are asking them to do on the pipes.
Get the bike, get on the road and forget about the $132.00. It may seem like a decent chunk of change right now but when you hit the road and have the wind in your face, you'll realize that in the grand scheme of things,it ain't no big deal. Just enjoy the ride!
Sorry pal, but you agreed on $2000.00 worth of parts at RETAIL. Not at dealer cost. What makes you think its a lie that they are on back order from the supplier that the dealer uses? Dealers DO NOT look around for the best price, they use the same suppliers all the time. If the part is on back order they wait for it to come off. The fact that you told them about another supplier that had it in stock didnt change your deal, it got your part sooner! Would you have paid MORE if it cost them more to get it in. HELL NO you wouldn't have.

I guess I'm just looking at the principal of things. To me, principal means a lot. To me your word means a ton! I don't think lying to customers is good practice. This is my first Harley. I've been riding for 18 years. I figure I'm from the city of Harley......I assumed I would get good service. My last bike was a $20,000 Italian sport bike and I received nothing but great service.
What makes me think it's a lie is the fact that I called the dealers supplier and the parts where in stock at the time that they told me that they ordered the parts. My dealer never ordered the parts. Lie number one. Lie number two was today, when they just couldn't tell me that they ordered the parts from the supplier I told them that had the parts in. They told me that they were shipped from their supplier. They made a ton of money off of me already and to me, $132 is $132. I signed a contract for $2000 and I think it should be honored. Obviously, just my thoughts.

I on the other hand, see your point. They lied. Period. All this BS about them having to make a profit while true, doesn't excuse the fact they are throwing the stones to you. Confront them with the truth and settle somewhere in between or tell them you will take youir business elsewhere in the future. If they need the $132.00 that bad, then fine. Don't set foot back inside there. They will lose much more than $132.00 esp. if you have one or two friends do the same thing!

ok you've lost me.... "it's the principal" you say..... ok.. did the dealership quote you $2000 at cost with no labor? in writing? or did they say $2000. Whether they buy from supplier A or supplier B they can, and will sell you the part at MSRP, plus BOOK labor for installing
I've gotten good deals but poor service, and I've gotten MSRP with great service... assuming you're going to get good service sounds nice.... but I do my homework before I buy. The local dealership sells for MSPR plus... and they add 20% above the HD catalouge prices for accesories... should I raise a stink? if that's true, maybe I should complain to Harris Teeter because their prices are higher than Food lion.... or??? maybe I'll just go buy what I want from whom I want.... and now I've found Zanotti's... should I be po'd that I've bought items at MSRP? no... I made a decision, and I've learned
