Default Stealership!!!!!!

Alright, I wanted to get everyones opinion before I head to the dealership after work. I'm pretty heated. I caught my dealership.....excuse me......stealership in a lie. A $132 dollar lie. A lie that I have proof of. Long story short, I've had my bike at the dealership since Feb. 4th due to the crappy weather. I worked out a deal to have it stored for free until the weather became better. Well, the weather is good enough to have it delivered at least so I called. Supposedly, a few of the parts I ordered through my dealer were on back order but were supposed to be in two weeks ago. Well, it's two weeks later. I hate miscommunication. So they put blame on who they were ordering the parts through. Well, I found the parts I want for my SG through one of this forums sponsors. Actually, for $132 cheaper. I already paid for these parts at a higher price. I told the stealership that I wanted them to order these parts today and I want them on my bike by Wednesday. So today I receive an email from my stealership that the parts are now in from the original company they purchased them through. A lie because I had the company that sponsors this site call me when my stealership called. So I have proof in email that they lied.

How much hell should I raise?????????????

They're in business to make money... go have a beer and forget it.

Without being stupid... I want them to smile when I walk in and take good care of me. You're getting the parts you want and you'll love that new bike. Enjoy it!

Raising hell with the dealer or with yourself? I understand about you being po'd; but, isn't this partly your fault for failing to check prices at other places before you ordered? Parts are usually higher if you buy from the dealership.

I don't see where you have much of a case. You ordered the part originally and I assume you agreed to the price you were quoted. Just because you can now find the part cheaper somewhere else is very little reeason to jump all over the dealership at this point. Take it as a learning experience, next time shop and compare prices before you agree to buy.

I dunno, you were in agreement on the price when you placed your original order, then DOH! you see the same items for less cost? I wouldn't be raising a stink with the dealer if it were me, I'd chock it up to lessons learned and move on cause I don't think you'll get too far with a price reduction at your dealership. Just my opinion.

Only $132! There a honest dealer and then there are not sohonest dealers. I think you have found the latter. You can make a stink but IMO it will do no good, except get you more upset. Live and learn.

I wouldn't purchase anything of value from the dealer with out check here first. I have spent a lot of money sense joining these forums, but I have also saved a lot.

Example: I installed a set of V&H dresser duals (with new gaskets) and the V&H oval slip-on's for $750, purchased from Eastern Performance, a sponsor of these forums. My guess is the dealer would have charged me around double that.
