Anyone have HD pullbacks installed on their 07 or older Ultra at the dealer???
Just looking for prices before I get a quote from the local dealers.
Thanks
I had a set of Pull Backs on my 05 EGC when I bought it. Apparently the original owner was not a very big guy. He had the bike lowered too. I had to go back to stock bars cause the pull backs were too close. It cost me about 500 parts and labor for bars, stock cables and installation. If I had to do it now, I'd do the work myself but I included the swap as part of the deal when I bought the bike. It's not exactly what your looking for but might give you a little reference info.
I had pullbacks installed on my last two ultras. I'm 6'2" and would rather sit back on long hauls. On the 07 they said I had to get the cables as well. Came to about $700.00 parts/labor and I had to pay for half.

Do you still have the pullbacks? If so, what would you take for 'em?I'm lookin' for stock width with pull back, I don't care for the wide ones.

Capt Jim: Had them installed at the dealership here. The cables were the biggest issue; some confusion over what could be used or not. Finally, they were able to put their heads together and discovered that most of the cables could be kept except the clutch cable; they used the clutch cable designed for the Road King. The total cost including labor and parts was $480.00. The cost of the bars was the cheapest part of the deal.
Hey Rahall, How much of the inner fairinghas to come off.I want to put 10in. apes on my 05 EGC for leg room. I'm 6-9,and the stock bars hit my knees when in sharp turns. Or anyone else that has changed there bars with a batwing fairing.
Rahall,
Yes, I did see the sequence of the wildones bars.
If I use the HD bars and don't do the internal wiring, didn't look too bad.
What cables did you change?? and can you leave the electrics attached?
