Default throttle sticking

anybody having problems with the throttle sticking in open position on the 08's? had mine a couple of time were ive shut her down to go in somewhere and come back out and start up with the engine reving up due to the throttle stuck in open a bit. also had it happen when I came to a stop light once thought i layed off the throttle pulled in the clutch and next thing i know engine is running up again. Just wondering if others have had this happen.

Can't say that I have. Have you changed grips at all? Open the top piece of switch housing and insure that the throttle sleeve is not binding in there or anything. There is a rib that is held into the switch housing and sometimes this isn't seated properly like when people change out grips or something.

Yep, sounds like someone played with the grips or switch housing...

it could be that while you brake to stop/shut offperhaps you are rolling on the throttle as you release the brake and it has caused a "false" zero to the tps...

Unscrew the little wheel under the throttle. May be too tight.
Sometimes it be simple.
