Recommended Pipes
New owner. Have stock pipes. Sound too muffled. Looking for that cool "Harley" sound. Don't want them too loud but wantothers to hear me coming.
Any suggestions on pipes?

I've got the fulsac tru duals and Rush 2.25's. Not saying their the best money can buy, but this set up is a good value, it looks good, works good, sounds good and I like em.

You're going to get all kinds of opinions, but I've been there also. I listen to several setups at several dealers and went with the Rinehart TDs. They have a very deep HD sound and I am very pleased with them. They will bark when you twist it and they are nice and smooth at idle. JMHO.

I'm have the same question too. I haven't picked up my new '08 Ultra as we are in the middle of another snow storm. I've been told the V/H are too loud but I've heard so too are the S/E. I always listen to my tunes so exhaust noise is important.

I've installed many Wild Pig slip-ons on people's bikes, and they all love them. They provide the "harley sound" everyone wants, look good, and cost under $200.

go back a few posts and look for one of the threads that have there exhaust sound posted and listen to them that will help with what you want

Rineharts! Mine are still in the box because I just got them 2 days ago but the craftsmanship is second to none. There nice and I can't wait to get them on tomo!

One thing I can tell you is to take your time and buy yourself the pipes with the sound you want. You almost have to go to a dealer or bike night and listen .
