Some days you fall in crap and it stinks [:'(]other times you come out smelling like a rose
Today, I went to my local HD shop which is sister store to FBI. I was picking up some black cherry paint for my next project when I decided to take a trip threw there "take off" area, I always do. There I seen some seats and I noticed a HD RK solo seat and I have been thinking about going solo butwith limited funds didn't think this would be possible for some time. I like my RK custom seat but on long trips the sew seams begin to hurt my rear and theparts guy said "yeah, heard the before." I asked as I was getting my paint about the seat in the back and he said "lets go take a look." So, anyways he says "ohh,.. how about 25 bucks?" I was thinking well yeah! I said ok and it came with some nice little thumb screws and the bracket that's mounted under the fender.. I thought I smelled pretty good!!! They always have treated me good and this is just another example. Just wanted to share my day with you all
Here is a pic.
I am always amazed at seeing guys buy new bikes, add all these things like pipes, seats, lights etc.. and not ask for the original parts back even though they paid full price for everything! I saw a guy add the SE guages and inner fairing to an Ultra with the piano black one and leave all that behind.. yikes!
