Hey Creep, nice deal on the seat. I tried to get some Black Cherry Pearl paint from my Harley store in MA, and was told they (HD)no longer sell that particular colar in aerosol size. Did your store have more cans available?
I had thatsolo seat set up on my RK and loved it. The only time I put on the 2up seat is when the wife rode. Mustang has a cool bib for the rear fender for about $35 if you have any scratches from the stock seat to cover up!
Creepshow, good things happen to good people I guess. You are going to be out of stuff to do pretty soon, have to start turning it back into an Ultra LOL

LOL, that's not going to happen! Yeah, I am about done.... dandfire, I don't know if they have more but if you call them you can ask on Tues. They are closed here on Mondays. Here is the number-Toll Free Phone: (888) 475-2243 C & C Custom Cycle, Inc. They will ask you what department and give you options, choose parts, then Harley parts. Ask for Chad!
Nice get, Creepshow, and I agree with the earlier post that the touring models look great with a solo seat.
The seat you have is the solo seat from the RK Standard. These frequently show-up on Ebay since RK Standard owners seem to change them out regularly. I have had mine for 2+ years and 40K miles; and my buddy bought one for his RK Custom. I haven't look lately but the solo will sell for well under 100; IIRC I bought mine for about 75 with the pillion that I never use, and my buddy paid 60 for his--still well north of the 25 you paid--but still excellent value.

The place I listedabove doeshave another solothat hasa pillion with it for $75 but I didn't want the pillion. I haven't riddin with it yet but just sitting on it feels like it is going to be my main seat, feeels real nice on my rump! I dont have scratches from the stock seat on the fender but there is some dull spots I am going to try to work out of the clear and possible get some protectant from Profinish.
